Ruger 10/22 - M1 Carbine stock - Includes sling and oiler
When you think of the reliable Ruger 10/22 Carbine, you automatically associate it with a platform that the average firearm enthusiast can work on and change it’s looks into a variety of hunting, target and military styles.
Well the time has finally arrived for the 10/22 to be dropped into our no alterations needed, conversion M1 Carbine Stock. On our stock the front band has the sling swivel just like the original M1 Carbine stock, not like others that offer it with the swivel in the stock, the wood finish replicates the GI tung oil finish and comes with handguard and steel but plate. Easy drop-in fit for any 10/22 action with the standard 18 1/2" tapered barrel.
The wood and color are so much like the real thing that people do a double take when they see it and realize it’s not an M1 Carbine.
Also we include a web M1 Carbine sling and oiler/sling keeper, just our way of saying “THANK YOU FOR BEING OUR CUSTOMER”.
The picture says it all ! ! ! Limited quantities get them while you can……

For the price it is an excellent buy. I used the tactical 10/22. All parts lined up, simply drop in and tighten screws. Had some trouble getting the sling and oiler in slot finally took a rubber mallet and a wood handle and gave it a firm hit and it went right into place. Decided to keep my red dot sight.

Bolt lined up great no issues at all, makes my Ruger look like a M1 carbine battle rifle! Great deal and included the oiler and sling, sling metal had some rust on it but brushed off easy with a brass brush. I kind of like the weathered look of the sling. This is the best deal I could find on the M1 stock for making a Liberty rifle. I'm a happy customer! Thanks Sarco!

I researched M1 stocks for the Ruger 10/22 and found four versions. I liked that this version was the only one to have the sling swivel on the barrel band, the others are recessed into the stock, either on the side or bottom. The fit was perfect, I did not have the same problem as the previous reviewer. The color and quality of the finish is great. Overall, it adds a little weight, making the 10/22 feel more substantial, just what I wanted. I did not receive the sling and oiler, but a quick email to customer service and the items were shipped immediately. If you want the M1 carbine look for your 10/22, I recommend this stock. If you want to use a scope, as I did, you might need taller (high)rings to clear the upper handguard.

Ruger 10*22 - M1 Carbine Stock

The SARCO stock arrived. It is a very pretty and well executed piece of woodwork. Made in Taiwan. Everything dropped right in and the upper hand guard and barrel band lined up and fit just fine. I thought I was home free with a 30 second conversion. Wrong. The hole for the take down screw was of by about 3/16 inch. This necessitated a good deal of Dremel tool work to allow the receiver to shift rearwards in the stock to allow the take down screw to line up. However, once the rear of the stock was relieved, all went together. I have to confess that when I was almost done with the carving, I let the tool slip and scarred the stock. Nothing that a little sanding cannot fix but I was really, really vexed. I will give the stock supplier a score of B- for the misfit. If the screw hole had been accurately done, the job would have been simple. The stock is advertised as drop in and the receiver did just that except the most important part was misaligned. Grrrrrrrrrrr! I was pleased to note that a sling and an oiler were included as advertised. This review would have been five star comment except for the above.
